Every month all of the photographers at the studio enter a critique and awards competition run by the Master Photographers Association. It gives us the chance to enter a selection (usually 3) of what we consider our best work from the previous month at the studio. These are then critiqued by a judge and depending on the marks given an award. This allows us to not only see a wide selection of great work by other studios, it pushes us to produce better, more original work month after month. It is always so helpful to get an honest critique of our work so that we can improve and grow – and in turn offer our very best work to our customers. This month Abbie was awarded a Highly Commended Award for this beautiful image of baby Lane taken at the studio last week. She is pleased as punch and we always have a little celebration with a slice of cake….! Fingers crossed for next month!
